The University of Pittsburgh Sports Medicine department is seeking two (2) Certified Athletic Training Interns to work with their Division I Men’s Football Team. This is a 1-year paid position (July 1 2026 – June 30 2027).
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
· Providing comprehensive medical care to football student-athletes
· Coverage for practices and competitions as well as off-season workouts
· Administrative duties – inventory management, yearly physical paperwork, daily athletic training room maintenance
· Serve as a clinical preceptor for students in the University of Pittsburgh Athletic Training Education Program (training will be provided)
· Collaborate with all members of the Sports Performance team as needed
Applicants must have BOC certification, CPR/AED certification, and have or be eligible to apply for Pennsylvania state licensure.
