    Athletic Trainer– Football (FULL-TIME)

    The University of South Florida (USF) is seeking qualified candidates for a Full -Time Athletic Training position, with primary sport coverage for USF Football. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a Division I athletic program while working alongside an experienced and collaborative athletic medicine team.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive healthcare services for student-athletes, including evaluation, emergency care, treatment, rehabilitation, and event coverage.

    • Coordinate medical care and communication between student-athletes, physicians, and other healthcare providers.

    • Schedule and manage appointments, diagnostic testing, and rehabilitation sessions.

    • Supervise and mentor athletic training students, observation students, and clinical immersion students.

    • Assist in the daily operations and maintenance of athletic training facilities.

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of new facility and program initiatives.

    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletic Medicine.

    Qualifications

    • Education: Master’s degree from an accredited Athletic Training program (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

    • Certification: Certified or eligible for certification by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification (NATABOC).

    • Licensure: Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Athletic Trainer in the State of Florida.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Prior experience working with collegiate or professional football

    • Strong communication and organizational skills.

    • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
