The University of South Florida (USF) is seeking qualified candidates for a Full -Time Athletic Training position, with primary sport coverage for Men’s and Women’s Tennis. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a Division I athletic program while working alongside an experienced and collaborative sports medicine team.

Responsibilities
-
Provide comprehensive healthcare services for student-athletes, including evaluation, emergency care, treatment, rehabilitation, and event coverage.

Coordinate medical care and communication between student-athletes, physicians, and other healthcare providers.

Schedule and manage appointments, diagnostic testing, and rehabilitation sessions.

Supervise and mentor athletic training students, observation students, and clinical immersion students.

Assist in the daily operations and maintenance of athletic training facilities.

Contribute to the development and implementation of new facility and program initiatives.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletic Medicine.
Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree from an accredited Athletic Training program (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Certification: Certified or eligible for certification by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification (NATABOC).

Licensure: Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Athletic Trainer in the State of Florida.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working with collegiate or tennis athletes.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
