The University of Tulsa is seeking an Assistant Athletic Trainer for Volleyball & Rowing.
The Assistant Athletic Trainer will coordinate care for Volleyball and Rowing, including the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses as well as assist in the daily operation of the athletic training room and act as a preceptor in the athletic training program. Other admin duties as assigned. This position reports directly to the Director and Assistant Director of Athletic Training. Team travel is required during team's championship season.
This position is contracted through Oklahoma Surgical Hospital. Master’s degree in related field. One to two years of experience in athletic training preferred. BOC certification required upon hire. Must be eligible for or currently have OK Athletic Trainer License upon hire. CPR/AED Certification required upon hire. Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, strong work ethic, self-starter, excellent organizational skills and great attention to detail.
Salary range is dependent upon experience. This position comes with full benefit package. Reimbursement for state licensure fees and CEU opportunities.
