    1.) Men's Soccer/ Men's & Women's Track & Field

    2.) Women's Soccer / Men's Tennis

    Lipscomb University Athletics is seeking applicants for the position of two assistant athletic trainers. The assistant athletic trainers will report directly to the head athletic trainer.  The assistant athletic trainer will be responsible for the prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, physician referral, and medical documentation of athletic injuries and illnesses.

    Men's Soccer/Men's & Women's Track & Field:  This is a full-time, 12-month position, with the primary responsibility being all medical and healthcare needs for men's soccer and men's /women's track and field(excluding cross-country). Position requires daily practice coverage, game coverage, in-season travel for men's soccer (including weekends and holidays). Travel may be required occasionally for in-season meets and Atlantic Sun conference track championships.   

    Women's Soccer/Men's Tennis: This is a full-time, 12-month position(s), with the primary responsibility being all medical and healthcare needs for women's soccer and men's tennis. Position requires daily practice coverage, game coverage, in-season travel for women's soccer (including weekends and holidays). Travel may be required occasionally for in-season matches and Atlantic Sun conference tennis championships.   

    Job Requirements

    NATA/BOC certified athletic trainer.

    State of Tennessee Licensed AT and/or eligible for Tennessee license.

    AHA CPR/AED certification.  

    Master's degree in related field required. Minimum of 2 years experience as an athletic trainer. Experience as an athletic trainer at the collegiate level is required. Division I experience is preferred. 

    Individuals must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to be flexible and adapt to schedule changes.  The individuals must also have working knowledge of NCAA rules. Must adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations of the NCAA, the Lipscomb University athletic department, and the Atlantic Sun Conference.
