    Description:

    • Program is suitable for post-graduate professionals interested in a role designed to improve clinical decision making and organizational leadership skills while providing a high-quality sports medicine service in support of Division 1 athletics programs
    • Sport Assignments: Football, Baseball, Track/Cross Country, M/W Tennis, M/W Swim & Dive, or Sports Medicine Administration. Please specify which sport assignment you would be most interested in
    • These positions place the Transition to Practice candidate alongside full-time athletic training staff creating a shared responsibility structure with emphasis on guided autonomy
    • Direct collaboration and communication with sport coaches, performance coaches, nutrition staff, mental health professionals, sport science, and administration
    • Independent team travel and event hosting
    • Direct exposure to team physicians and surgical observations
    • Experience in assisting as a preceptor for Texas A&M MSAT curriculum program
    • Experience with administrative tasks such as medical record keeping, hydrotherapy maintenance, inventory, emergency equipment maintenance
    • Compensation and benefits include: $36,000 annual salary, Texas A&M University full benefits package, personal continuing education allotment, Texas A&M Leadership Development Program, dry needling & SFMA Level 1 certification, professional dues, membership fees, relocation expense and temporary housing assistance, complimentary meal plan, Adidas asset card

    Qualifications: Current BOC Certification and Texas License required by start of contract
