    • Coverage of sport to be determined
    • Injury assessment and therapeutic treatment and rehabilitation of orthopedic injuries.
    • Communicating with team physicians, coaching staff, and administrative personnel about athletic injuries, illness, modifications, etc.
    • Maintain accurate records of student athlete medical histories, injury reports, etc.
    • Instructor in Dept. of Kinesiology.
    • Clinical Preceptor for athletic training education program, supervising athletic training students.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    • Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
    • Two (2) years of Athletic Training experience or the equivalent experience.
    • State of Texas licensure (LAT).
    • NATA-BOC certification (ATC).
    • First aid, CPR and AED trained.
    • Ability to properly assess and treat athletic injuries.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with:
      • coaching staff, administrative staff, parents, athletes, and team physicians.
    • Ability to drive university vehicle.
