    Applications are invited for the position of Athletic Trainer at Saint Michael's College, a private Catholic liberal arts and Sciences College located in the greater Burlington area of Vermont. Saint Michael's is an NCAA Division II institution sponsoring 21 varsity sports and is a proud member of the Northeast-10 Conference, NEWHA, and the EISA. This is a full-time, 10-month position with benefits. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    · Addresses prevention, care, evaluation, and treatment of injuries for intercollegiate student-athletes

    · Covers staffing needs for home practices, as well as home and away contests

    · Documents treatment plans

    · Assists with ordering of equipment and supplies

    · Completes administrative and organizational tasks with Health Services and the Team Physician

    This position will require regular work hours, as well as evening, weekend, and holiday times.

    Requirements:

    Applicants must have the following:

    · Bachelor's degree

    · At least one year of experience (highly desirable) in athletic training (traditional) or outpatient (nontraditional), CPR, First Aid, and NATABOC, Vermont license/eligible required

    · Outstanding skills related to the evaluation and treatment of injuries

    · Valid driver's license and must be able to successfully pass driving record check. For criteria please see the Driver Acceptability Matrix
