    Dallas Baptist University is an NCAA division I and II member with 22 teams.  The sports medicine staff consists of 7 full-time athletic trainers and 1 graduate assistant athletic trainers. The Sports Medicine Staff at Dallas Baptist University is committed to providing the highest level of medical care to our athletes through a Christ-centered atmosphere. DBU Sports Medicine is dedicated to the enhancement of each individual student athlete’s physical health, performance, and spiritual life. The Sports Medicine Team strives to serve every student athlete through comprehensive treatment, evaluation, education, and support to lead healthy athletic careers here at DBU and success in all their future endeavors.

    Position is for an Assistant Athletic Trainer (1 opening) that will work in conjunction with the athletic training staff to cover Dallas Baptist University's Division I & II men's and women's athletic teams.  Job includes but is not limited to the following: training room supervision, assist in team practice, home and away game coverage, assessment and treatment of student athletes, and other duties assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer.

     

    The applicant must have the following: 

    Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or a related field

    LAT Texas license or eligible

    BOC certified or eligible

    CPR/First Aid and AED certification
