Asst/Assoc Athletic Trainer ($5,000 Sign On Bonus)  

Pittsburg State University, in partnership with Freeman Health Systems, is looking for a full-time assistant athletic trainer. Sport assignments for this position are volleyball and softball.   

Job duties: Performs and documents as directed by physician for patients classified as athletes according to state licensure act. Independently assesses patients/athletes to determine appropriate athletic injury care or referral to physician for evaluation. Provides rehabilitation and athletic injury coverage for area schools. In clinical setting, delivers treatment under direction of evaluating therapist to meet stated goals.  

Qualifications: Current BOC Certification and eligible for a Kansas State Athletic Trainer License.
