UNLV is seeking to fill the position Associate Director of Sports Medicine for Men’s Basketball.
Responsibilities:
• Reports to the Director of Sports Medicine.
• Assist with yearly student athlete physical exams and testing
• Provide first aid and emergency care for athletic related injuries
• Assists in injury prevention, management, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries
• Supervision of Women’s Basketball and Volleyball Athletic Training Staff
• Provides coverage for home and away events
• Assist with Medical and Insurance record keeping
• Assist with maintaining inventory and supplies
• Supervising of athletic training students
• Compliance with all NCAA, Mountain West Conference and institutional rules
• Assist in other duties as assigned by the Sport Oversight and Sports Medicine Director. Assistance with other team coverage as needed.
Requirements
• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
• Current NATABOC certification
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Eligible for Nevada State License
Annual Salary: $70,000
Anticipated Start Date: Mid to late July
