Mercer University is seeking qualified candidates to fill the full-time position of Assistant Athletic Trainer. Mercer is located in Macon, GA just south of Atlanta. Mercer is a Division I institution that is a member of the historic Southern Conference. The Assistant AT will work in conjunction with the Associate Athletic Director for Sports Medicine to provide high level care through prevention and care for all student-athletes.  Primary Sport Coverage will be with Volleyball and Women's Lacrosse. These programs have a history of excellence with multiple conference championships. We are looking for great candidates to help build an emerging Sports Medicine department. This is a 12-month position with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2023. Additional opportunities to teach or serve as a preceptor for the Master of Athletic Training (MAT) program in the College of Health Professions exist.
