    The Athletic Department at Campbell University is seeking a highly qualified individual for a full time athletic trainer position working with NCAA Division I athletics. 

    Sport assignments will be Men’s Soccer with shared coverage of swimming.

    The Athletic Department at Campbell University Currently employs 12 full time athletic trainers and 4 graduate assistant athletic trainers.

    This is a salaried 12-month positions (prorated for this first year) with full benefits, renewable yearly.  Start date ASAP, with the contract year concluding May 31st of each year. This position also includes payment of NATA annual dues and NC state licensure fees, and financial assistance with continuing education.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing athletic training services to assigned sports teams, administration duties, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletic Training.

    Campbell University is a Division I institution located just south of Raleigh in North Carolina.  We currently have 21 varsity sports, including football.  Campbell University is home to multiple medical programs including: Doctor of Pharmacy, Master of Physician Assistant Practice, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Doctor of Physical Therapy, and Nursing.

    Requirements

    Requirements:  Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field with the concentration or emphasis in athletic training and a Master’s Degree in an applicable field OR a Master’s Degree in Athletic Training.  Valid BOC Certification and North Carolina state licensure or eligibility for licensure required. Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.

    PREFERRED: 3-5 years of experience with collegiate or professional athletics
