Description
Trevecca Nazarene University, a DII institution and member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, invites applicants to apply for our current position opening of Assistant Athletic Trainer. This is a full-time appointment with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2022. Sports assignments are TBD, but will most likely include women's soccer and an additional sport. Travel is required, as well as work on the weekends (except most Sundays). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordination of medical care for assigned sports, assisting daily operation of sports medicine department, medical and insurance record keeping, communication with team physicians and coaches, travel to away competitions, daily practice coverage, drug testing, etc.
Required: NATA BOC certified, bachelor’s degree or entry level master’s degree in athletic training, TN licensed or eligible (cannot practice until licensed in TN), current CPR, first aid and AED certified.
Preferred: Master’s degree, experience at collegiate level
