    Job Description: The Assistant Athletic Trainer provides sports medicine care to the student-athletes in their respected sports. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. The position works closely and communicates effectively with coaches and staff to ensure smooth operations and care for student-athletes, as well as ensures smooth processes for teams and travel. The Assistant Athletic Trainer supports the head athletic trainer with operational support necessary to run an effective athletic training room and provide exceptional care.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in athletic training or a related field required.
    • NATABOC certification and Eligible for OHA Licensure.
    • First Aid & CPR Certified.
