Position Summary

The Assistant Director for Sports Medicine coordinates the medical care of student-athletes in track & Field/Cross Country, including the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses.  The Assistant Director for Sports Medicine will assist in the daily operation of the athletic training room and possibly act as a preceptor in the masters athletic training program.  There will be other administrative duties assigned based on the candidate's skillset and experience.  The Assistant Director for Sports Medicine reports directly to the Assistant Athletics Director for Student Health & Performance/Director of Sports Medicine.

Required Qualifications

BOC Certification

Eligible for Oklahoma Athletic Training Licensure

Bachelors and/or Master's degree in related field

Masters level of education obtained
