    Description:

    The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for an Athletic Trainer to evaluate the physical condition of student athletes and advise and treat student athletes to maintain maximum fitness for participation in athletic competition for Softball. This position must comply with all NCAA, SEC, and UAA rules and regulations governing the operation of the intercollegiate sports program, and must remain current on and adhere to all established rules and regulations. This position is the point of contact for all issues relating to the Softball Athletic Training Facility including supplies, maintenance, etc.

    Qualifications:

    Required Qualifications:

    • Master’s Degree
    • BOC certification and eligibility for Florida licensure
    • Ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds and effectively interact with high energy, intense personalities
    • Ability to work a non-standard work week which will include nights, weekends, holidays and overnight travel

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience as a certified athletic trainer with a Division 1 collegiate or professional athletics program
    • Experience working with Softball or Baseball
