The North Carolina A&T Department of Sports Medicine is seeking qualified applicants for a 10-month internship position. Responsibilities include injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation; maintaining accurate medical records, practice and game coverage, including travel. Selected candidate will be responsible for the supervision and management of athletic training services for women's basketball. Appointment is August 2022 to May 2023 with a $20,000 stipend split over the 10-month period. Position is renewable pending satisfactory performance review.
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree from CAATE accredited Athletic Training Education Program
- BOC Certification
- Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in North Carolina
