    Assistant Athletic Trainer

    St. Bonaventure University, an NCAA Division I institution and a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference, is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer.   This is a full-time, 10-month appointment which reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine / Head Athletic Trainer.

    Responsibilities: Successful candidate will be able to assist with the supervision, coordination, and implementation of the University’s overall sports medicine program, including, but not limited to: injury prevention, evaluation, management, and treatment of injuries, short-term and long-term rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Other responsibilities of the assistant athletic trainer include but are not limited to: keeping accurate and current medical records for assigned sports and administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine. .


    - Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate area of specialization and Master’s Degree are required. 

    - Must be certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification (NATABOC).

    - Licensed in the state of New York or eligible to receive prior to start date.

    - Minimum of two years Division I college athletics experience preferred.

    - Certified CPR/AED instructor required.

    Employment is conditional on a successful background check.  St. Bonaventure University is an e-verify university and applicant must be eligible to work in the US.
