    The University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO), an NCAA Division I institution and a member of the Summit League has a position opening for a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer. 

    TERMS OF APPOINTMENT: 10-month appointments, renewable for a second year, start date August 1, 2021 through end of Spring 2022 semester. Possible summer employment for graduate assistants in June and July on campus. 

    SALARY: Approximately $13,863

    BENEFITS: Tuition waiver

    RESPONSIBILITIES: Graduate Assistants assist the UNO Athletic Training full time staff providing health care for a diverse population of varsity student-athletes and teams at UNO.  The Graduate Assistants are assigned to specific team coverage, including travel. Specific sport assignments may include: Soccer, Swimming & Diving, or Baseball.


    1. Candidates must be eligible for NATA BOC certification. Preference will be given to candidates who are Certified Athletic Trainers.

    2. Successful candidates must be accepted into a graduate college and departmental graduate program at UNO.
