Assistant Athletic Trainer - Women's Rowing (The University of Texas at Austin)

    The University of Texas at Austin is seeking applicants for Assistant Athletic Trainer with primary coverage of Women's Rowing.

    Required Qualifications

    Master's Degree. Licensed Athletic Trainer by Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (or eligible). NATABOC certification. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively work in teams. Strong organization and problem-solving skills. Proven effectiveness in cross-disciplinary collaboration both inside (in other units and functions) and outside the organization. Experience with creation, acquisition, and maintenance of medical records. Knowledge and support of NCAA rules and regulations. Demonstrated understanding of the medical needs, expectations, and requirements of student-athletes to promote, maintain, and enhance their health and well-being.

    Preferred Qualifications

    More than 3 years of athletic training experience at the NCAA Division I level.  Advanced certifications in adjunct allied health specialties or demonstrated advanced clinical skill set. Experience in athletic training student supervision.
