    Boston University’s Athletic Training Services is seeking highly motivated individuals grounded in evidence-based practice for the position of Resident Athletic Trainer.  The experience will include collaborative practice in an interprofessional environment with a varied patient population.  This residency is accredited by the CAATE.

    Current areas of clinical specialization:

    1. Neurotrauma & Spine
    2. Orthopedics & Diagnostics

    Responsibilities for these positions include, but are not limited to: the delivery of athletic training services to varsity teams, club teams, local high schools, and ROTC; providing education and clinical supervision to athletic training students in the CAATE-accredited professional athletic training program; assisting physicians in on-campus sports medicine clinics, and other duties as assigned by Athletic Training Services.  The position complies with ACGME guidelines.


    • Graduation from CAATE-accredited professional athletic training program
    • Post-professional Master’s Degree in Athletic Training preferred
    • 2 years of athletic training experience
    • BOC Certification, in good standing
    • Commonwealth of Massachusetts license by start date
    • Current CPR/ECC Certification
    • Satisfactory completion of Boston University background check
