    UNIVERSITY OF NORTHERN IOWA / CEDAR VALLEY MEDICAL SPECIALISTS, PC: FULL TIME FOOTBALL ASSISTANT ATHLETIC TRAINING STAFF POSITIONS (2)

    In collaboration with the University of Northern Iowa (UNI), a Division I Member of the Missouri Valley Football Conference and Cedar Valley Medical Specialists, PC (CVMS), is seeking two candidates who will assist with the supervision and coordination of the University of Northern Iowa’s overall sports medicine and athletic training services in consultation with and under the supervision of the UNI Director of Athletic Training Services/Head Athletic Trainer, team physician(s), CVMS, and other qualified medical personnel; serve as staff athletic trainer assigned to football. These positions are in conjunction with the UNI College of Education and UNI Athletics; assist with the development and implementation of student athlete welfare and educational programs, assists in providing instruction and supervision in coursework as part of the University’s Athletic Training Education Program under the supervision of the Director of Athletic Training Education.

    These positions are full-time, 12-month positions. Employee will be a Cedar Valley Medical Specialist, P.C. employee functioning as a UNI Football Assistant Athletic Trainer as a full-time member of the UNI Athletic Training Services staff.     Requirements

    Master’s degree preferred; certification by the National Athletic Trainer’s Association Board of Certification (NATABOC); and Athletic Training licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in the State of Iowa required. NCAA Division I experience preferred; experience with manual therapy rehabilitation techniques preferred
