Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Athletic Trainer. The selected candidate will join a staff of 2 full-time assistants and 4 graduate assistant athletic trainers.
Successful candidate will provide assistance and support to the Assistant Athletic Director of Athletic Training including, but not limited to , the development of rehabilitation programs and day-to-day supervision of assigned NCAA Division I sports programs to include monitoring the progression of injury rehabilitation and support of Winthrop student/athletes as a healthcare professional. Primary responsibility includes serving as athletic trainer for the Men's Soccer team. Also, other sports teams as assigned. Candidate will also serve as a preceptor for the athletic training student education program. Must adhere to the policies, procedures and regulations of Winthrop University, the Big South Conference and the NCAA.
This is a full time, 12 month appointment
Salary: $35,568
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in athletic training or related field
- NATABOC Certified
- Eligible for certification by the South Carolina Department of Health & Environmental Control
- Minimum of one year of experience in a collegiate athletic training room setting
