UC Davis has an immediate opening for our Athletic Trainer Fellow program.
The Athletic Training Fellowship Program at UC Davis strives to provide entry-level Graduate Athletic Trainers with an experience that will promote education and professional development, foster an environment of cohesion and teamwork amongst staff, and ultimately prepare the fellows for full-time employment and success in the athletic training profession.
The UC Davis ATFP places novice athletic trainers alongside our full-time sports medicine staff who prides themselves on creativity, innovation and evolution; that is consistent with current medical advancements. Our 1:1 mentoring provides the highest level of support, development, and collaboration for fellows, producing an atmosphere with a wide range of experiences in the Division I setting. The program is designed to cultivate personal and professional confidence and promote refinement of clinical competencies and decision-making skills.
UC Davis ATFP is a paid 1-2 year program that invests in the NATA's mission to ensure that future athletic trainers have a substantial academic background and can provide comprehensive patient care in all domains. The program strives to prepare athletic trainers for the next chapter of their career with proficiency and confidence, by bridging the gap between didactic instruction and clinical practice.
