    Job Description: North Greenville University, in conjunction with Prisma Health Upstate and Steadman Hawkins Sports Medicine, are now accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant position.  North Greenville University is a Southern Baptist affiliated institution located 30 minutes from beautiful downtown Greenville, SC.  NGU is a NCAA Division II institution competing in Conference Carolinas and currently hosts 19 Varsity intercollegiate sports as well as 2 Junior Varsity sports.  The Graduate school provides both a Master’s of Business Administration, and a Master’s of Arts in Teaching.

    Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer duties include but are not limited to: responsibility for providing prevention and care, rehabilitation, and athletic training services for all intercollegiate sports for varsity and junior varsity home and away games, practices, and for athletic training room operations and activities.  Sport coverage will be determined at a later date.  The Graduate Assistant will report to the Athletics Director and Head Athletic Trainer. North Greenville University and Prisma Health Upstate will provide a monthly stipend, a meal allowance, tuition, and books.  This position is a 10-month contract, renewable in May.

    Qualifications: Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from an accredited institution, be certified by the Board of Certification, CPR/AED certified and eligible for South Carolina Certification and admitted into North Greenville University’s Graduate School.   The Position begins August 1, 2021.
