    The University of Denver has a proud athletic tradition that compliments the school’s academic endeavors. In its history, DU has won 33 national championships and enables student-athletes to compete on 18 Division 1 teams. The Pioneers pursue championships, excel academically, and represent both the University and their respective conferences to the best of their abilities.

    Position Summary

    The assistant athletic trainer is responsible for assisting with the organization, management, and development of the University's intercollegiate sports medicine program working primarily with Men's Basektball and oversight of Women's Tennis. 

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine
    • Experience in the field of athletic training
    • NATABOC Certified, CPR/AED certification, Colorado AT licensure eligible
    • This individual must possess a knowledge specific to the field of athletic training

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master’s degree
    • 1-3 years athletic training experience at the Division 1 level
    • Ability to work with insurance companies to insure payment, ability to follow University procurement policy, broad knowledge of prescription medication
