Description
Murray State University, a NCAA Division I member of the Missouri Valley Conference, has an opening for an Intern Athletic Trainer for a starting date of August 1, 2022. Appointment is for one (1) academic year only. Position will be responsible for the day-to-day coverage of a Division I Baseball program. Other responsibilities include opening and coverage of main athletic training room on a rotating basis with other staff members and other duties as assigned by the staff athletic trainers.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree from a CAATE accredited athletic training program
BOC Certification by Start Date
Eligible for Kentucky Athletic Trainer License
Current Emergency Cardiac Care Certification for Professional Rescuers/Healthcare Workers
Compensation:
$10,000 for 10 months. Additional opportunities for camps may be available.
Paid housing in an off-campus apartment. Includes private room and bathroom with shared living space (kitchen, living room) with other athletic department personnel. Approximate value is $420/month ($5040/year). Must pay for utilities (typically $60-80 per month).
Will pay cost for Kentucky Athletic Trainer License application.
