Orleans Hotel Health & Safety Protocols
We made changes to the program to give attendees and exhibitors the ability to social distance. Some examples below:
As of 7/7/21, per CDC guidelines, face masks are mandatory for non-vaccinated attendees/guests and must be worn covering your nose and mouth. Exception is when actively eating and drinking. Fully vaccinated attendees/guests are not required to wear face masks. However, vaccinated attendees may certainly chose to wear masks for various reasons whether it be personal, institution/company policy, etc.
If you are ill or exposed
If you develop symptoms of illness/COVID, have become exposed or in your best judgement should not attend in-person, please contact us and we will switch your registration to virtual.
Attendees have the option of visiting with exhibitors in-person, virtual scheduling (note: limited number of companies) or visit our list of exhibitors to view products and access company contact information.
Food & Beverage
The Orleans will provide hand sanitizing stations near food and beverage break stations. We will offer more individually wrapped options at our breaks. If you have special dietary needs, please let us know. There will be a gluten-free pasta dish available at Friday's lunch. Attendees are always welcome to elect to find alternative meal options at the hotel.
Handbooks will not be provided for in-person learning this year. All available speaker handouts will be on our website. You may print preferred handouts prior to the symposium or continue to view online.
Speaker's presentation videos will be available on our website after the symposium. We will notify our members when these are available to view. You need to have an active CATS account in order to view videos.
How will we handle Q&A with both live and virtual attendees?
Everyone needs to use Slido to submit questions to speakers. These questions will be moderated in Vegas. Participants will be able to view all questions and upvote their favorite questions. Download the Slido app or visit https://www.sli.do/ and join as a participant. Meeting code: #CATS2021
How will I receive my CEU certificate?
Once we receive the time-stamped list of participants, those individuals will receive an email to complete the CATS 2021 Symposium Participant Assessment & Program Evaluation. Once you complete this assessment, we will upload your CEU certificate to your online CATS account. If you participated in the 2020 Webinar, the process is the same. If we make the announcement that the assessment has been emailed and you have not received it, check the following: 1) your junk mail folder, 2) your institution to see if it was grey-listed, 3) you may have opt-out of receiving Survey Monkey surveys. If these don't work then please email Josephine Lee, firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
NSCA CEU Certificate
If you answered "yes" to the registration question regarding registration for NSCA CEU then your certificate will be uploaded into your CAT account post-symposium. If you did not receive your NSCA CEU certificate, please contact Josephine Lee, email@example.com or Jenny Moshak, firstname.lastname@example.org.
